An Early U.S. Military Issued Simeon North Model 1816 Flintlock Pistol In Nice Untouched Condition. All original & complete. The revolver has nice untouched metal, markings, and edges. It is in its original flintlock configuration. The "Simeon North/ Middle Con." marks on the lock are double stamped, this was factory done and appears like this on these pistols once in a while. It was usually done on early examples. The top of the barrel is marked "P/US". All of the metal on the pistol has an untouched and natural chocolate patina on it. It has its original wood with metal tip ramrod in it. The pistol has very nice untouched wood with very good edges. There is a clear oval U.S. Inspector’s cartouche on the backside opposite the lock. It has a good bore and action. This Is A Very Nice All Original Example Of An Early U.S. Military Issued Simeon North Model 1816 Flintlock Pistol!
