German Flintlock Pistol with aspects of French Features (AH5629)

Description:

German flintlock pistol with aspects of French features. Barrel length 7½”. Overall length 12½”. Bore is approximately .50 caliber. Mechanism works perfectly. Stock furniture is a light patina. Brass with engraved floral motifs. Stock is carved in relief, also in floral motif. Stock is very good with no chips or cracks. The pistol is unmarked as to maker. Estimated period of manufacture 1770-1780 approximately.
