This is a 1807-1808 State of Maryland Contract 10” barrel 58 cal. The lock is marked H-DERINGER/PHILA and the barrel marked M with a P in an oval with a front sight. The mechanical function is very good with a dark bore. There is a M Cartouche on the left side wood flat next to the side plate. Flayderman’s says quantity unknown, very limited and RARE. (Morphy just sold one 9-9-25 for $7200)
