Another unusual and fancy 18th century flintlock pirate pistol of about 18" lonh with a chisel engtaved 10 1/2" long  round barrel of about .65 cal.The European walnut stock is carved with designs, and the right hand brass buttplate langet is shortened, as well as the front barrel band is a simple steel sheet  as these guns saw a rough life and often had wear comensurate with age and replaced partsd as needed.Overall a colorful 18th century flintlock pistol. Hammer is very stiff with a strong mainspring.
