Description:
    SOLD   A Colorfull 17th ~18th century pirate flinlock long barrel pistol with an overall length of about 21 1/2" long, with an engraved oct/rounb barrel of 13 3/4" long with a muzzle measurement of about .56/.58 cal.. The action works well witha strong mainspring. The European walnut stock has elaborate deep carved designs and brass furniture through-out . Ram-rod is non functional as with most,  as during a boarding attck , A shot is fired at the most dangerous opponent and then the butt-cap   ( skull-crusher) would disable the next opponent , and then a sword of knife wiuld finish the job. Fine foliate chisel engraved design on the lock-plate and top of the barrel is a long word not decipherable . When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith  before  shooting.
