This Model 1816 is made by Simeon North of Middletown, Connecticut from 1817-1820. It is a 54-caliber smooth bore pistol with a 9 1/16” barrel. The lock is an early pistol with S. NORTH over the Eagle with U on the left and S on the right side of the eagle. MIDLTN CONN below the Eagle. This original ram rod has the ferrule at the end of the swelled tip. The barrel has US P on the left breech and RJ on the right breech. Luther Sage Cartouche is not completely visible. The mechanical function is very good. I would consider trades for pre 1899 ANTIQUE PISTOLS and rifles on any of my items.. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO TRADE?
