US Model 1819 Original Flintlock Pistol

Description:
This is an Original Model 1819 Flintlock Pistol made by Simeon North of Middletown, Connecticut in 1822. The lock is marked S.NORTH with a Spread EagleShield US MIDLTN CONN. The rear of the lock is dated 1822. The barrel is 10” long smooth bore and54 cal. The barrel is marked US/P/JDJ. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight and the safety is crisp and tight. The markings are sharp, very good plus condition. All iron parts were finished brown.
