Very Nice London Iron-Frame Flintlock Turn-Off Pistol by Archer

NSN, .45 Caliber, 2 1/2" barrel with a good, lightly pitted bore. This is a handsome pistol that has a slightly mottled, dark pewter gray patina throughout, with some small areas of plum-brown freckling as well. The retailer’s name is engraved on the left side of the box frame in flowing script, "Archer," with "London" on the right. The rounded walnut grip has silver wire inlays, and small handling marks and blemishes scattered about the original oil finish. The action is tight and functions flawlessly. This is a very well made and handsome pistol, and is in fine condition overall. Antique;
