Description:
Offered is an antique James Reid “My Friend” Model 2 Knuckler Duster Revolver/Brass Knuckles, made circa 1874-1877. Reid made 3,100 of these between 1870 and 1882, making them very scarce.
The overall condition is good. Patina throughout. The action (hammer/trigger) is strong and the cylinder turns when cocking the hammer, but the cylinder does not lock up. The bores are in good condition. The cylinder is browned, which is typical of many Jame Reid Model 2 revolvers.
The serial number of this revolver is 11099, which sits around 1874–1875 production. The numbers on the trigger, cylinder bolt, and frame match.
Barrel Length: 1-1/2 inches.
Caliber: .22 rimfire
Shots: 7
Overall condition is as seen in photos, which are an integral part of this description.
Since this is a pre-1899 antique, an FFL is not requiired and the revolver will be delivered directly to your door by Priority Mail.
