"British Early Sea Service Pistol (AH5811)

"British Early Sea Service Pistol. This is a later percussion conversion pistol with a crown on the lock plate. The pistol has a captive ramrod and London proofs. Barrel is six inches, lock and pistol 12" overall length. There is a lanyard loop in the bottom of the butt cap. The action works perfectly. Overall, this pistol is in very good condition. There is an example of this pistol pictured on page 73 of Robert Brookers book British Military Pistols 1603-1888.
