"Palmetto Armory Model 1842 Percussion pistol (AH8028)

"

Palmetto Armory marked model 1842 percussion pistol .54 caliber with an 8.5"" round barrel. Metal is a grey patina with surface oxidation present. Faint V/P and tree are visible on the barrel, lock plate is correct and dated 1852. Wood loss is noted above the lock plate. Ramrod has been replaced with a wooden one. Nice early confederate South Carolina pistol.
