NSN, made in 1848, .54 caliber, 8.5"" round proofed smoothbore barrel. Metal is a spotted brown/grey patina. Tang and lock plate are marked 1848. Stock is good with two cartouches visible. Action holds at half and full cock. Ram-rod is not original, capture piece and front sight are missing. Consignment
