made by  ferdinand  fruwirth   marked  on top  of  barrel/  70  caliber  smoth bore 10 inch barrel  /  ex  bore// 16  inches  oa   / stock  has  original  finish and in vg  condition  except for     crack  by  left  barrel  lug /  pre  1860    pistol  made  for austrian military  /  dont  know  which  branch  of  military //  description  appreciated/  no  pitting  on  gun / metal in natural  grey color / no  name  or  numbers  //$47  sh / looks  like  a  cavalry  pistol //  brass  mounted/ original  ram rod /  very  nice  for  its  age
