An Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver In Very Nice Untouched Condition. Serial #118,877, all matching numbers. Made in 1856 with a 4 inch barrel. All original and complete. The revolver has very nice metal, markings, and edges. It has a full and very clear cylinder scene. It has a two line New York Barrel Address. The barrel and cylinder on the gun have an even natural darkening patina on them. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all show darkened motled case colors on them. All screws are fine. The backstrap and trigger guard retain most of their original silver. The grips are excellent throughout and retain their original finish on them. It has a fine action and bore. This Is A Fine Looking And Crisp Example Of A Civil War Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver Made In 1861 That Very Well Could Have Been Carried By A Soldier!
