Civil war issue Colt 1860 Army .44 Caliber. Complete and functioning, Matching serial numbers . No serial number on the wedge. Nice deep aged patina. No evidence of being polished or buffed. Correct 8" barrel with Colt one line address on top " ADDRESS COL SAM'L COLT NEW YORK, US AMERICA" . Small blade front sight , attached loading lever functions correctly, one piece walnut grips with remainder of faint cartouche on left grip. Light roll engraved cylinder scene with some pitting. This Colt was Manufactured in 1862. Serial number 78932 Will consider trade for civil war era gun of equal value or MAKE AN OFFER
