An Early 1850's Civil War "Henley Hart" High grade Engraved Double Barrel Large Bore Percussion Pistol In Nice Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The fine pistol has fine metal, markings, and deluxe engraving. The fine deluxe engraving is on the frame, end of the barrels, the back of the tang behind the hammers, the trigger guard and the hammers. The makers name is finely engraved on both sides of the frame. One side says "HENLEY" & the other "HART". It is proof marked o the bottom of the frame. All of the metal on the pistol has a fine untouched look to it. There is a safety for each hammer behind them on the top tang. The grips are fine plus and retain their original varnish on them. There is a silver oval inlay on the top of the wood grip. The pistol has a fine action and rifled bore which is .45 caliber.
