Greener "turn barrel" percussion belt pistol, .4.65-inch bore diameter, engraved, cased, layaway

Greener (Birmingham) “turn barrel” percussion pistol. Barrels (four inch, .690-inch diameter across the flats, .472-inch grooves, .465-inch lands, sights, hand-filed ribs and side flats) rotate left and lock for a quick second shot. Features include a small belt clip, trapdoor grip cap and scroll engraving. Finishes are polished blue and color case. Weight is 1.4 pounds. CONDITION: The bores are brown with moderate pitting. Rifling remains quite strong. Mechanics are solid. Bluing is approximately 70 percent with tarnish at the nipples (like Nancy Pelosi). Colors are approximately 20 percent with some tarnish on the guard and cap. Engraving is sharp. Wood is solid. CASE: The maker's case with label includes mold, flask and tools.
