Lindsay Two Shot Pocket Pistol. This is a superposed load where the percussion loads were stacked on top of each other. The double hammers fired in proper sequence squeezing the trigger drops the hammer on the load most forward while squeezing again drops the other hammer on the rear load. Brass frame is scroll engraved. The .41 caliber barrel right side of barrel is marked Lindsay’s Young America, Manufactured by J.P. Lindsays Man’F’D Co. New York. Left side of barrel has a wild animal (lion?), star studded flags and an eagle?. The right side of the barrel has easily visible lettering. The left side with the scene is worn. Rare pistol of derringer size.
