Solid original model 1819 model well marked S.North , Middletown Conn converted for the CW most likely by Confederates as the hammer forged hammer and the drum and nipple is commone for thier workmanship .The 10" round .54 SB barrel has a clean but lightly frosted bore. Meral in the white as issued, and action works well also,American wonut stock is clean and the barrelbreech is stamped proof .U.S. , and P. Overall presentable historic condition .
