Description:
Westley Richards pair .38 caliber smoothbore percussion pocket pistols with folding triggers. Features include 1.5-inch octagon barrels (.590-inch across the flats, .385-inch bore diameter), trumpeting elephant hammers, hammer safeties, niter blue triggers and walnut grips (fine checkering, blank initial shield). Pistols are numbered “4” and “5” respectively on both frames and barrels forward of trigger recess. CONDITION: Bores are relatively bright with browning and roughness. Mechanics are solid. Color case is approximately 20 percent with mild tarnish. Niter is approximately 50 percent. Engraving is well executed and tack sharp. Grips are solid. CASE: The lockable case (with key, no label, Sykes flask, ramrod) is in very good condition. The price is firm and layaway is available. $2,750 plus shipping.
