Here we present a C&R Spanish Astra 2000 Cub Pocket Pistol chambered in .25 ACP and made circa 1956. This handy little pistol was designed and produced by the Spanish firm Astra-Unceta from 1951 until 1998.

These pistols are sturdy and reliable and were very popular with their main market in the United States, where they were marketed and sold as the Astra ‘Cub’ and the ‘Camper’. Astra even manufactured a version of this pistol for Colt with a Colt branding known as the ‘Colt Junior’, that was available in .22 Short and .25 ACP.

However the 1968 Gun Control Act which prevented the importation of small, pocket pistols into the USA brought an end to those sales.

The overall condition is near fine. Comes with the original picture box that is numbered to the gun, the paperwork inside, and a spare magazine. Original finish on the gun. The action is excellent. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The grips are in great shape. Box is in very good condition.
