Synopsis: Astra, 900 pistol, Two Line Address, 7.63mm, 20771, FB00825 Description: Standard configuration, mid production Astra M900, with large ring hammer, two line address and a full grip. Standard 5.5 inch screw-in barrel and slip-in tangent rear sight graduated from 50-1000. Short extractor and two lug firing pin. Large ring hammer and full frame. Sideplate with two line address referencing caliber and patent date 1928. Full serial number on frame above grip. Right side marked with the automatic pistol proof on barrel, receiver, and right side of frame whose markings include the Eibar house proof and a year code "C" reflecting production in 1929. Serrated wood panels. Modern replaced lanyard ring. Major parts rust blued; most small parts fire blued; bolt, hammer, and small transverse bolts in the white. Limited disassembly shows matching side plate and unnumbered grips. Condition: G with considerable finish loss and etching, most of the gun a grayish brown. The visible cross bolt that locks the sideplate in place is an unnumbered replacement and loose, easily dislocated upon manipulation of the safety. Firing pin is a replacement. Grips sanded and revarnished. Dark bore with easily discernable rifling. Correct manual mechanics except as related to the misalignment of the cross bolt. ~~Insured shipping fee of $55; most packages shipped using FedEx 2nd Day.~~
