Astra mfg Campo Giro model of 1913 unmodified with Holster Cal 9mm Largo
Description: Manufacturer: Astra Model: Campo Giro Action: Semi Caliber: 9mm Largo Capacity: 8 Serial: 398 Barrel: 6.5 inches Finish: Original Blue Stock/Grips: Pressed Horn This is an Astra (Esperanza y Unceta) Campo Giro 9mm Largo Modelo 1913 Pistol. With the original holster. This is among the first delivery in 1914. This example has all the early features, with no later Modifications made. The slide does not match the frame, but it is the correct style. The mag release and trigger match. These pistols were often disassembled when in use by Spain, and mismatches are common. This is the first model, with all the unusual features of this design, the strange mag release, and the ealy type safety. The left grip has some damage near the front top edge. This is also common with this pistol. This is a rarely seen pistol today, with the correctly marked campo giro 13 holster, which has wear and damage appropriate to the age.
