Unique .22 Single Shot Pistol. The maker of this gun is un-known, but whoever it was did a nice job building it. It is fitted with a 10 3/8 inch barrel, with an ejector, checkered target style grips with a thumbrest and what appears to be ebony base/cap, both front and rear sights are dove-tailed into the barrel (unfortunately the rear sight is not adjustable for elevation), and it is chambered in .22 Short. The gun breaks open by pulling the trigger guard forward, at which time the ejector operates and ejects the spent cartridge. The grips are in very good condition with the exception of a chip on the left grip panel. The bore is shootable, with sharp rifling, but has some corrosion in the grooves. The action works well and it has a tight lock-up. One issue: The hammer spring is broken so it cannot be shot. A great addition for that single shot pistol collector.
