Produced in 1944 during the German occupation of Italy, this Beretta Model 1935 carries the wartime “4 UT” acceptance stamp and matching slide-to-frame serial numbers. Its compact size, open-top slide, and rugged carbon-steel construction made it one of the smallest service pistols issued in World War II, while also influencing post-war Beretta designs. Collectors looking for a documented German-contract variant will find this example notable for its intact markings and functional condition.
