Built on an extremely strong, lightweight, forged aircraft-quality aluminum alloy frame, this semi-automatic pistol features an open top slide that virtually eliminates jamming and stove piping. A chrome-lined barrel provides extreme corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning, while the deeply recessed combat muzzle crown protects the rifling. The M9 fieldstrips easily without the need of tools, with the disassembly latch staying on the gun and returning to the locked position automatically. The spring-loaded, ambidextrous safety lever doubles as a decocking lever, and the pistol has a hammer drop catch to protect against unintentional hammer drops. A Bruniton™ non-reflective black coating provides superior corrosion and wear resistance.
