Built on the base 92XI series, the 92XI SAO Tactical features the long-awaited frame mounted safety to the standard 92 family of products, as well as a single action only variant and various ergonomic enhancements. The frame-mounted safety offers an ambidextrous solution, bringing the safety lever more in reach with natural ergonomics. The 92XI SAO Tactical comes equipped with the X-Treme single-action only flat-faced trigger, performance DLC-coated trigger components and a lightweight skeletonized hammer, allowing for a crisp trigger pull.

The 92XI Combat series pays homage to American history of military camouflage patterns. Each pistol is hand painted by veteran-owned company Howe Arms, which makes each pistol unique by having its own footprint. This model features a modern Multicam camouflage pattern originally developed by Crye Precision in 2002 and has since seen extensive adoption globally, most famously with special operations units. Two 18-round magazines are included.
