Beretta Model 950B 22 Short. The subject of Roy's Insider column in the May/June 2024 issue of American Handgunner (signed copy included), serial C99891 has a tip-up 3.5-inch barrel and - as it is pre-68 - does not have the GCA-required modifications. Features include an inertia firing pin, aluminum frame and a surprisingly smooth single action trigger pull. The original magazine is present. ACCURACY: The article shows a 10-round, 10-yard group centering the bullseye and measuring one inch. CONDITION: the bore is strong and bright. Metal finish is approximately 80 percent. INCLUSIONS: Other than what is described or pictured there are no additional inclusions. PROVENANCE: A personalized letter of provenance written by Roy Huntington will be sent to the purchaser. ROY HUNTINGTON has written over 2,500 firearm-related articles since his first effort was published in Guns & Ammo during 1982. While his editing career actually began at Police Magazine, industry-wide recognition came after he was named editor of American Handgunner. Roy became the publisher of American Handgunner, Guns and a host of special editions presented by the Firearms Marketing Group in 2004. He remained at the helm of American Handgunner until semi-retirement in 2021.
