Beretta APX – 9mm – 4.25" Barrel – 17+1 – Original Case

The Beretta APX was originally designed to compete the the U.S. Armed Forces XM17 Modular Handgun System competition. Although the winner of the competition was ultimately the Sig Sauer P320, the APX performed well and passed every test in the competition. According to Beretta, the pistol can withstand a 45,000 round firing schedule with 5000 rounds between stoppages.

This one is here on consignment and is serial number A207710X.

It has a 4.25" barrel, a 17 round magazine capacity and 3 dot sights. An accessory rail is positioned underneath the barrel. The grip size is adjustable, which was a requirement of the military competition.

The frame on this pistol is Near Mint. The metal finish is Excellent, showing only some finish loss on the slide release. The bore is clean, the barrel is bright and the rifling appears to be strong. Overall, we suspect that this pistol has seen limited use and is in Excellent overall condition.

This APX is a well-maintained affordable pistol with great magazine capacity. If you’re after a durable shooter at a great price point, it’s worth a look.
