This is a .380 ACP caliber small pistol.  This model was the pistol of the Royal Italian Army starting in 1934, and purpose built for Italian armed forces.  It was issued to officers, NCOs and machine gun crews for duty use.  This was the Italian Army’s most common firearm issued in the WWII era. 
This pistol was made in 1937 with XV adjacent to date (referring to the 15th year of the Fascist calendar).  It has a polished blue finish.  For its size, it has a robust construction.  The Royal Italian Army (RE) crown proof mark is on the tang.  Also, there are metal reinforcement plates on the grips.
This pistol comes with one 7+1 magazine.  The firearm has holster wear and pitting on the left side.  The lands and groves are in excellent condition.
