RARE US AIR FORCE GENERAL OFFICER BERETTA M9 RIG

Description:
This is a super rare example of an early military issue Beretta M9 general officer pistol, issued to Major General Byron E. Mills in 1991.
While US army general officer pistols were marked with GO serial number prefix, the Air Force General officer pistols were taken out of standard military Beretta M9 stocks, all starting with 100xxxx serial number. Very few were then customized by the Airforce gunsmith with high polished finish and high quality wood grips with inserts, which was only done for high ranking Generals. 
This particular gun is flawless and has beautiful high polished finish, highly figured wood grips with Airforce logo and General's initials inletted into the grips 
This is a complete set that includes an issue holster, belt and a double mag pouch still in plastic wrap. All of which is in the original shipping box from Lackand Air Force base. 
A notarized letter from General's son, confirming provenance, and a bio print out are included as well.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a historically important sidearm carried by a US Air Force Major General with distinguished career.
