Two NIB Beretta Model 8000 "Mini-Cougar D' 9MM Pistols

Description:
Only one Beretta Model 8000 "Mini-Cougar D' (Serial number 489473) The D version, which is double action only semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Parabellum. Cougar 8000 series pistols are recoil-operated, locked breech semi-automatic pistols. These pistols use a relatively rare rotating barrel locking system, in which the barrel rotates on recoil to unlock itself from the slide. The rotating motion of the barrel is controlled by the stud on its bottom, which follows the cam track in the steel frame insert. New in box, but  does not have any product data. Made in Italy.

They feature a 3 1/2" barrel with a steel slide, and an alloy frame with a 7" overall length and a two-finger grip, 3-dot sights, a serrated, squared trigger guard, a magazine release on the right side, and checkered black polymer 'P. Beretta" grips. An extra ten round magazine is included. They first appeared on the market in 1995 and discontinued in 2000.
