Description: WORLD WAR II Era Italian BERETTA Model 1935 7.65mm C&R SEMI-AUTO Pistol .32 ACP Chambered Pistol with HOLSTER & 2 MAGAZINES Here we present a C&R Italian Beretta Model 1935 Semi-Automatic Pistol, manufactured in 1944 in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy with a production run between 1935 and 1967. The Beretta M1935 is a compact .32 ACP caliber (7.65mm) semi-automatic pistol that was manufactured by the Italian firm Beretta. In the early 1930s, the Italian army was impressed by the Walther PP pistol. Beretta did not want to lose a big Italian military contract and designed the compact Model 1934 for the Italian army, which accepted it in 1937. The Model 1935 is simply a Model 1934, modified to fire .32 ACP ammunition. Though the Model 1935 was purpose built and designed for the Italian armed forces, it was also sold to the civilian market and issued to the German forces in 1944 and 1945. Fitted with the Beretta-style open slide, the Model 1935 has a very reliable feeding and extraction cycle. It was made with few parts and is very simple to maintain. The M1935 is a very robust construction and is known for its long service life. The low magazine capacity of 8 rounds and short effective range makes the Model 1935 more of a self-defense weapon, rather than one seen on the battlefield. The overall condition is nearing fine. Excellent action. Original finish. The bore is bight and reflective. Sharp, clear markings. The numbers match. Both grips are in very good shape. This item also includes a nice leather holster (latch is detached, but is included, and a spare magazine.) The back of the holster is stamped “P.F.C./SPEAK”.
