Earliest configuration of the Browning Renaissance High Power in 9mmP with the coin finish, thumb print slide, and internal extractor. Usual two line BAC/St Louis address on left side of slide with caliber on exposed barrel hood. Standard Belgian proofs. Fully matching barrel, slide, and frame. Extensive Renaissance style engraving over most surfaces with gold plated trigger, replacement faux ivory grips (early Pearlite grips were prone to shrinkage and discoloration) and correct coin finished magazine. Complete with early blue, leather bound, Browning case, lid lined in silk, base in velvet. Synopsis: Spectacular Browning, FN, Renaissance High Power, Early, Coin Finish, Factory Cased. An absolutely fantastic Renaissance HP, factory cased, from about 70 years ago! Condition: Excellent+ original bright coin finish with trace flaking of gold plate on trigger. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Excellent case, lid and base with depressions from pistol, but negligible staining and no discernible tears.
