Description:
Fabulous Browning Medalist, arguably the most attractive .22 LR target pistol ever assembled, this example virtually new in factory presentation box with full complement of accessories and keys (no instruction booklet) as sold in 1975. Standard configuration Medalist with 6.75 inch barrel having ventilated rib, patridge front sight and fully adjusted rear sight. Left side of barrel marked with the BAC reference; right side “Made in Belgium” followed by the caliber. “BROWNING PATENT” marked under the barrel. Full serial number on front strap. Fitted with fancy rosewood forend and target thumb rest grip, no deflector pin, for right handed shooter. Factory magazine marked caliber followed by “Browning”. Black pebbled Medalist case, blank plaque on lid, plastic protective sheet still in place, with usual red lining and inner brass logo. Accessories include 4 different counter weights, screwdriver, shell block, and 2 locking keys in their original translucent envelope.
Condition:
As NIB with a single, very superficial, 1/8" nick/scratch on tip Schnabel forend. Grip as new. No spider-webbing of finish or handling nicks on ridge of thumb rest. Magazine with minimal insertional wear. Comparable condition case and accessories. No shell deflector pin or instruction booklet. Mirror bore. An absolutely gorgeous FN Browning Medalist pistol, cased with accessories!
