1962 Belgian Browning Nomad .22 Pistol

Description: The Belgian made Browning .22 pistols (Nomad, Challenger, & Medalist) from the 1960's have a great reputation for quality of workmanship, reliability, and accuracy. This Nomad was manufactured in 1962 which was the second year of production. Although it is in fine mechanical condition with an excellent bore, it has been subjected to poor storage and as a result developed some rust on the exterior. There are areas of rust pitting on the outside of the barrel and the receiver, as well as the grip screws. The lower frame and grip straps are anodized aluminum and rust free, with the vast majority of the black finish still present as you can see in the pictures. The original factory grips are are in very good shape overall, and free from cracks or repairs with only minor handling marks and light wear showing. The original Browning factory magazine is in good shape with plenty of spring pressure. We were told that this pistol functions flawlessly and we guarantee it to work. We tested the firing mechanism and it left nice deep indentions on the brass. This pistol is absolutely perfect for someone looking for a neat shooter to carry afield or on the farm. It could also be restored and made to look more attractive if the new owner so chooses. This pistol is priced to sell!
