Classic, Original Condition, and All Matching German Military FN High Power Pistol from WWII, Fixed Sights, WaA140 Code, with Two Military Accepted Magazines.

Description:

Standard configuration FN High Power Pistol with fixed sights, coded WaA140, as issued to the German Military during WWII. Fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Usual three line address on the left side of the slide. WaA140 acceptances on left side of slide as well as on the left side of the frame. Serrated slide lock, safety lever, and ring hammer. Right side with stacked three line SN on the exposed chamber, repeated on the adjacent slide and frame. Oiled walnut checkered/bordered grips, raw wood inner surfaces. Correct magazines with aluminum follower, WaA140 marked spine, and split tail floorplate.

Condition:

VG+ original salt blue finish with sharp edge, handling, and holster wear as expected from a pistol having seen moderate use under wartime conditions. Comparable condition grips with oil darkening and handling marks, the handling marks more pronounced on the right panel. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. Spare magazine lightly polished and reblued, now with no wear. A nice, no excuse FN High Power from WWII with spare magazine, just begging for a correct holster to complete the rig!
