Scarce, FN High Power pistol with late tangent rear sight as issued to German military in WWII, WaA140 code, complete with two magazines.

Description:

Standard configuration FN High Power Pistol, cal. 9mm, with drift adjustable front sight, tangent rear sight with full bar graduations from 50-500, and correct scattering of the WaA140 markings. Left side of the slide marked with the usual three-line address/patent. Full serial number on the right side of the slide, frame, and barrel. Fitted with checkered/bordered walnut grips. Two magazines with aluminum follower and a split tail floor plate: one unmarked, coarsely finished and blued, the second with a phosphated body marked for the Belgian Army. HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINES - cannot sell to restricted states!

Condition:

VG salt blued pistol with original finish having holster and handling wear, particularly around the muzzle and thinning of the front and backstrap. Dark grips with light handling marks. Comparable condition magazines, DS initials scribed on bottom of blued magazine's floor plate. Bright bore with easily discernible rifling. Correct manual mechanics. One of the more desirable FN High Power pistols from WWII!
