It was named the Hi-Power because at the time (1935) it had more capacity than any other 9mm pistol. In addition, John Moses Browning's design with the tilting barrel was copied by many over the years and can be found in many modern pistol designs today. If all that isn't enough, the fit and finish of this firearm is stunning with its high gloss bluing and French walnut grips. This particular piece was manufactured in Belgium c. 1968.
