Marked on the top of the barrel "NATIONAL ARMS CO. BROOKLYN NY." and underneath "PAT. FEB. 24 1863". The deringer has fine metal and brass with excellent engraving all throughout as shown. The hammer retains its blue finish on it. All screws are fine. The deringer has an excellent action and fine bore in it.
