Rare Trumpler & Day Littlerock Arkansas Percussion Deringer Pistol Civil War Era

This is an extremely rare little gun. Well marked on the top of the barrel TRUMPLER & DAY. They were known to make Deringer pistols circa 1860 and were located in Littlerock Arkansas. Gun retains a pleasing patina overall with some very light pitting here and there. German silver mounted, although the trigger guard itself is actual silver. 3 inch barrel. Roughly 6 1/2 inches long overall. The wedge, trigger, and lock screw appear to be restorations. Approximately .44 caliber. The hammer will hold at cock, however does not want to easily let down when the trigger is pulled and needs to be played with a bit to get it to fall.
