Beautiful Colt M1911 A1 U.S Army WWII pistol, 45 auto, All Original!
Here's an authentic WWII U.S Property issued Colt 1911 Pistol. 
This pistol was made in 1944 (1727340), and it remains in outstanding original condition throughout! 
The original parkerized finish is fantastic, with very little wear at all! The slide, receiver and barrel have all the correct markings. 
The receiver features the "Crossed Cannon" final inspection mark, and Guy H. Drewry Brig. Gen. mark ("G.H.D"), Army Inspector of Ordnance. The bullet ramp on receiver is correctly parkerized (Colt started this practice in mid 1944, at roughly serial number 1700000).
All three "P" correctly marked on receiver, slide, barrel. The slide is correctly unserialized (no serial number behind firing pin plate), as that practiced was discontinued around serial number 1140000. Barrel is correctly blued, and marked "COLT 45 AUTO" and the "P" on left side. 
The original Coltwood plastic grips are also in fantastic condition, with the correct type of mold numbers, large reinforcing rings and strengthening ribs.
The magazine is a WWII magazine made by M.S Little mfg. co. Hartford, Conn. which is also in fantastic condition. 
All the small parts are original to the gun: correct narrow-spur hammer, correct mainspring housing with 7 ribs, correct checkered slide stop, thumb safety and trigger.
Action is tight and works flawlessly! Do not miss out on this piece of history!
