Description:
Only about 20,000 of these pistols were manufactured during WWI, making it one of the rarest variations of a 1911 family. This one falls right in the middle of the production. Very good overall condition, crisp tight action, correct mag, excellent shiny bore with strong sharp rifling. The gun was arsenal reworked by Augusta Arsenal and most likely went back to service during WWII. Original blued pistols have sold for $ 6000- $ 7000 in the same condition as far as the amount of finish is concerned. CR is acceptable for this gun
