Description:
High condition, standard configuration Colt Gold Cup National Match. MK IV chambered in .45 ACP, with patridge front sight and fully adjustable Elliason-marked rear target sight. Left side of slide referencing Gold Cup National Match and the caliber. Similar references on right side. Colt address in Hartford on right side of the frame along with the full serial number. Barrel marked “COLT .45 AUTO N.M./MK. IV/SERIES’70” over chamber. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions. Correct factory magazines (2) referencing Colt and caliber on floorplate. Correct and matching factory box with styrofoam insert, recessed for the extra magazine. No literature.
Condition:
99.8-99.9% original finish with just a few scuffs over the barrel hood and on either side of the trigger in keeping with very light operational wear. There is no sharp edge thinning. Comparable condition grips with sharp diamonds. Magazines with insertional wear as imaged. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. Matching box with light scattered superficial scuffing. A wonderful Colt MK IV Gold Cup National Match pistol with just enough wear to justify a rare trip to the range! Difficult to upgrade short of finding another NIB!
