Colt Model New Agent Lightweight Semi-Automatic 45ACP
The Colt New Agent is a 1911 style, single action semi-automatic magazine fed pistol. It has a 3" barrel and the slide has a “trench” sight consisting of a channel cut down the length of the slide. It has a blue finish slide and the alloy frame finished black. The left of the slide is marked “COLT NEW AGENT” with a rampant colt facing the lettering on each side, the right is marked “LIGHTWEIGHT”. The right of the frame is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” and with the serial number. This Colt New Agent has been equipped with a set of LG-901 Crimson Trace Master Series Laser Sights which are rosewood. The original two-piece checkered double-diamond rosewood panels are included. This pistol comes complete with two factory 7+1 round magazine and a factory matching box. This pistol has been discontinued by Colt.

Condition:
The overall condition of this Colt New Agent pistol is excellent. The bore is in mint condition being bright and excellent. The metal surfaces are excellent as well retaining about 98-99% original finish and matte blue, with some very light edge wear. The semi-checkered rosewood grip panels installed on the pistol are marked with the Crimson Trace logo impressed on the panel. The red laser functions well and rate excellent. The original grip panels are also included. The pistol is equipped with a trench-style sight which was standard with this model. Included is the factory plastic hard case serialized to the gun, two factory magazines, and Crimson Trace warrantee, manual and other papers all in new condition. These are great carry handguns and are small enough to conceal well. Actually the trench sight are easier to use than what would be expected. Not having sights makes for a clean unobstructed pull. This pistol as mentioned earlier, has a set of LG-901 Crimson Trace Master Series grips installed. These are activated by flipping on a small switch. There is a pad just below the trigger guard that when depressed activates the laser. The laser is adjusted by the set screw (included) on two points on the sight on the right side of the pistol. With this Crimson Sight the Colt New Agent is ready to become your next every day carry pistol.
