Colt 1911, 45acp. Built in 1918, This was built as a Government Model and the transferred to the Military order. The slide is Commercially marked Colt Automatic 45 and also Military marked Model of 1911 US Army. This is United States Property marked on the right side of the frame above the serail number. This is Miliary S12 inspected on the left side of the frame. This has all correct WWI parts to include the nice Double Diamond checkered walnut grips, the HP marked barrel and a two-tone magazine. The brushed blue rates about 90% and the bore is VG+.
