Colt Mark IV Officer’s Model – 45 ACP – 3.5" Barrel – 1986 Model - Original Box

We love seeing these older Colt 1911 pistols and we especially love seeing one in this condition with all of the extras included!

This Mark IV Officer’s model is chambered in 45 ACP, has a 3.5 inch barrel and a magazine capacity of six rounds in the magazine and the ability to have an additional one in the chamber. It is serial number SF10463 and was manufactured in 1986.

White, 3 dot contrast sights sit atop the slide. The pistol is currently wearing very comfortable Hogue grips with finger grooves. However, the original black, checkered grips are included in your purchase, along with a pair of simulated ivory grips. Both of the additional grips have the Colt medallion embedded in the grip.

The single action trigger, as expected, is nice and smooth on this one. The bore is very clean, the barrel is very bright and the rifling looks to be strong. The Hogue grips are in Excellent condition. The frame is Very Good. The slide, in our opinion, grades as Very Good as well. The slide does have a very few light scratches (not deep and very minor) on the right side of the slide.

We think that this is a just beautiful example of a vintage Colt pistol. Throw in the original box, the extra mags, extra grips, holster, etc. and you’ve got a great package deal on a beautiful pistol.

Purchase includes the pistol as shown, (5) 6 round stainless magazines, original box, owner’s manual, original recoil spring (the owner upgraded to an Ed Brown kit, which is currently installed on the pistol), original black grips with Colt medallion, simulated ivory grips with Colt medallion and Bianchi leather belt loop holster.

This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test fired this pistol. We have performed our function checks and find no issues to report. As with all pre-owned firearm purchases, please review the photos carefully so that you are fully comfortable with the condition of the pistol.
