The Colt Ace or Colt Service Model Ace is a firearm that was designed to allow inexpensive and low-recoil practice while maintaining the feel of the military Model 1911 pistol.
This firearm was stored in the Colt Archive Vault prior to being sold to the original and only owner. It was part of a collection of example firearms available to Colt Custom Shop and Engineering and Archive Departments. Part of Colt Executive's personal collection.
