Colt 1860 Army Factory Engraved Mexican Eagle

Description:
Amazing Colt 1860 Army percussion revolver that is factory engraved with ivory Mexican Eagle grips. Gun is post Civil War manufacture (1867) and numbers matching (grips also). An amazing, functioning survivor but, does have substantial wear. Original finish down to about 12% on blueing and about 30% silver plating left on brass trigger guard. Mexican Eagle carved, on left grip, is numbered to gun. Gun is an actual survivor but, NO FACTORY LETTER. We think it may have been one of a pair, possibly. A beautiful piece of history.
