Colt Model 1851 Navy US marked 3rd Model 36 cal Bore near Exc,, Mech near Exc, Original wood grips Gd both sides have chips the right side has a large chip actually fits your hand good. Has initial R on the left side grip. Has an original 7 ½” Oct barrel with original brass bead front sight and excellent one line colt address marking. The frame has the colt patent US marking on the left side and Serial# 71960 Mfg’d 1858 all matching numbers including the ramrod and wedge. Metal overall has a aged dark grey patina finish with some fine pitting in areas and a couple spots of light pitting. Rare to find these US marked colt 51 navies especially matching numbers.
